These Strange Outcrops

2020

These Strange Outcrops showcases the works of Canberra writers, poets, creators, and artists, both established and emerging, in a dedicated text that speaks to the diversity of Canberra voices. This challenges the popular narrative of the ‘Canberra bubble’ and shows Canberra truly is a rich, diverse, storied place, which just also happens to be the nation’s capital. It was compiled, edited, and published in March 2020 as part of Cicerone Journal's Canberra Writing Anthology Project and was generously funded by ArtsACT. It was produced on Ngunnawal and Ngambri lands. Cover art by Rinaldo Hartanto. (My contribution was 'Wintertime in Canberra.' Pp28,29)
